    For almost 20 years, the GCFLearnFree.org® program has helped millions around the world learn the essential skills they need to live and work in the 21st century. From G Suite, Microsoft Office and email, to reading, math, and more,  GCFLearnFree.org offers more than 200 topics on more than 2,000 lessons and 7,000 pages of content with more than 1,000 videos, and more than 50 interactives and games – all completely at no cost to you!

    GCFLearnFree.org is a program of the Goodwill Community Foundation® and Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina Inc.® (GIENC&reg) providing lessons for people to improve their technology, math, and English skills. All educational content is designed and produced in the GCF Global headquarters in Durham, N.C.

    NORTHSTAR DIGITAL LITERACY ASSESSMENTS

    Northstar Digital Literacy is an online tool that helps you assess your basic skills needed to use a computer and the internet in daily life, employment and higher education. Free assessments are available for essential computer skills, essential software and productivity skills, and using technology in daily life.

    As a test taker, you can receive digital “badges” when you pass assessments and even earn certificates when you pass assessments. To earn a credential, you will need to test in person at a Goodwill Northstar testing location.
